Force-Feeding the Lotus S111 with BOE TVS Super Charging
Super Charging the 2ZZ engine found in S111 Elise/Exige is nothing new. Greddy has had a kit that the Celica GTS community has been using for years using the old M62 Eaton roots type blower.
The idea to integrate the Greddy system to the Elise was devined be a Lotus ethusiast named Frank, aka Ronin. The Greddy kit components were not well thought out and constructed poorly. In our first generation of the Lotus version of the Greddy kit, we simply redesigned and machined the Greddy parts to be much stronger which has vastly improved the kit for Lotus and Celica GTS cars all over the world.
We have now completely rethought the Greddy kit for the Lotus community in our next generation of M62 based supercharger systems. The new generation is specifically designed for the Lotus and is much stronger and more robust than any of the previous Greddy based installation kits that have been produced. BOE and TVS- The NEXT generation!
We have now successfully married the newest blower technology from Eaton and Harrop to our Lotus. The improvements in efficiency are fantastic. With only tuning for fuel and leaving the timing at the same conservative levels that we were running in the track with our old M62 blower, we've managed to produce 275 wheel horse power and 175 wheel torque on 91 pump gas. There's a lot more left in this setup. The initial impressions are fantastic!
