We'll take your stock Lotus shocks (Standard or LSS) and add customized grooves to provide the ability to adjust ride height of your Lotus. As we know, the Lotus 111 platform needs about 1cm of negative rake or attack (front lower than the rear) to take full advantage of the factory ground effects and maximize downforce. A lower car will also have a lower CG for improved cornering. We will dismantle your shocks, clean them, groove them with multiple ride height options, apply a rust preventive coating on the new grooves, reassemble and ship back to you. The BOE Tow Bar solves that problem of space when it comes to the Lotus S111. Within just a few minutes, the Tow Bar can be installed or removed to provide great utility in getting your track supplies to the track or pull a small cargo trailer for those long trips. The trailer in the picture was purchased from Harbor Freight for about $150 and does not come with the Tow Bar.
Installation requires only basic hand tools and a drill. It does require drilling a couple holes in the rear most cross member and corresponding holes in the diffuser. The holes are small and do not impact downforce or frame strength. It will take the average do-it-yourselfer one or two hours to install this kit. After the initial install, the hitch is easily removed or installed in just a minute or two. The kit provides everything you need to install along with instructions complete with color pictures.
