The Clamhinge is the number one mod that anyone can make to a Lotus Elise or Exige and it's best seller. With this nifty bit-o-kit you'll be able to tilt the entire rear clam up and out of the way. It's a one person job and the process requires 2-3 minutes (or less) from beginning to end.

The system retains full use of the boot lid. Clamhinge is not designed to replace the boot lid for engine access. However, it is perfect for more occasional use when you want to do larger projects on the driveline, chassis/engine, cleaning, and etc. This is a great mod for those with forced induction as well as those that just want to show off Lotus craftsmanship! The only modifications to the clam is drilling 4 holes in the boot for the hinge assembly. This modification is 100% reversible.
The hinges were designed and built in house. All components of the hinge are protected with powdercoat or are anodized.
